Meet The Band
Randy
Webb - guitar, vocals, kazoo. As a young boy growing up in
Alta Vista, Iowa, Randy dreamed of one day becoming a dancer. Societal
and gravitational pressures dashed these star-crossed desires, but
the inner performer could not be silenced. With guitar in hand, he
set out for Mankato, Minnesota and a long, unclear journey through
the Minnesota music scene. He played in the Randy Fellows (named before
he joined) and countless other bands before forming the Front Porch
Swingin' Liquor Pigs. His favorite color is amber.
Rusty
Jones -bass, vocals."If you could read my mind, love,
what a tale my thoughts could tell." Mr. Lightfoot must have
been thinking of Rusty Jones. Talmudic in wisdom and possessing memory
capabilities well above the median, Rusty is also bald. He is a rock
bass player of choice in the Twin Cities, well known for his performances
with rockabilly stalwarts Safety Last, the bon temps of the Rockin'
Pinecones, and battlefield duty with Curtiss A. He also slings a mean
bike part. Rusty digs philosophy.
John
Moline - fiddle and mandolin. "J Mo" is more than
just a pretty face. He can act, he can sing, he can dance, he can
"front and max" and he has never dated P Diddy. Nobody knows
where he came from, although it seems unlikely that it involved a
family. He possesses a speaking knowledge of Esperanto. John is sort
of tall, but not what you'd call really tall. John loves chewing gum.

Dave
Babb - guitar, vocals. Dave was born angry, but life's hardscrabble
lessons eventually made him embittered. The "Pope of Friday Night"
has managed to channel his rage into productive ventures. Like futile
vehicle repairs. And writing songs. And singing and playing his guitar.
And picking on children. When he's not plying his musical trade, Dave
earns a living through human experimentation. Dave is an inspiration
and a snub of the nose to the entire field of psychotherapy. Dave's
favorite song is the Old Dutch Potato Chips theme.
Jim
Tollefsrud - drums, piano. Jimmy T tunes pianos. He has also played
drums in several storied Minneapolis bands, including NNB, Safety Last
and the Tanglewoods. Mostly though, he tunes pianos. If you need your
piano tuned in the Twin Cities area, contact Jim by e-mail through this
web site. Jim likes tuning pianos.
